Fundraising

As a self-funded not-for-profit organisation, the Scout Group needs to raise funds to operate, maintain and improve its capabilities.

The goal at all times is to give our youth members the life-skills that will enable them to be productive future citizens.

There are 2 sources of this additional funding;

  • the parents and supporters of the Scout Group
  • the wider community

The parents and supporters of the Scout Group are a small collection of persons, who already pay significantly for their children's membership. The aim of fund raising for the Scout Group has to be towards the wider community.
